Our Services

Our Services

It is our aim to provide the highest standard of care in a comfortable environment that is friendly, and free from outdated and institutionalised ideas.

Person-centred care

We believe that all residents that reside at Bethany Residential Home should do so with dignity, have the respect of those who support them and be entitled to live a full and active life, given the fundamental right to self-determination and individuality to remain as independent as possible.

This is best achieved by developing a service that is fully committed to delivering person-centred care. In order to ensure that this happens, each resident’s care will be planned individually, giving them choice over their preferences.

Care management system

Our care management system is provided by CareDocs, which is one of the industry leading computerised Care Management Systems in the UK. CareDocs is an innovative computer-based care planning and home management system for residential and nursing care homes and is used in over 250 care homes.

Designed by care home owners, CareDocs offers the features that we need to ensure the smooth running of our home. Care planning is at the heart of CareDocs, as well as providing a quick and easy way to carry out comprehensive assessments.

CareDocs holds every detail about residents - past and present - with each resident having their own care file. An important aspect of the CareDocs system is that managers have complete control over what information can be accessed and by whom.

Proactive Care System (PCS)

We use the Proactive Care System (PCS), provided by InvaTech Health, the industry leading provider of Computerised Medication Administration Systems in the UK. PCS uses the latest in handheld computing and barcode technology to ensure that the correct prescribed medication is always administered to the correct resident at the correct time.

Every transaction that relates to medication is logged along with staff codes. By administering medication this way, we are able to provide a full audit trail that is available on demand and information can be used to conduct in-depth quality checks.
